Hello! I'm Casey Newberry, the 4th and 5th grade special education resource teacher. I also co-teach self-contained special education for 4th and 5th grade. I am an alumna of the University of Southern Mississippi where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education k-6 and Special Education k-12. After I graduated from Southern Miss, I moved to Tuscaloosa AL and got my Masters of Arts in Teaching, Collaborative Education k-6. I finally moved back to the Gulf Coast and worked in Mississippi for two years before moving back home and teaching where I grew up as a student! A fun fact about me is that I was in Second grade when Collier opened in 2001-2002. I also went to Baker Elementary for Kindergarten and First grade!
