My name is Theresa Maddox, and I am a fifth grade teacher at Collier Elementary. I grew up here in Mobile and attended the University of Alabama where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I taught middle school for four years and have spent the remainder of my twenty-six-year career at Collier. 

I have been married for 27 years and have an amazing family. My daughter, Ellen, is a recent graduate of Troy University. My son, Chris, works at Kimberly Clark, and my daughter-in-law, Mandi, works in the Collier Beestro. My grandson, Zach (18) just graduated high school, and Colton (9) is in  4th grade. I love spending time with my family, trying out new recipes, reading a good book, and watching college football.
